Canis Major represents the culmination of a breeding program that spans over three decades. For nearly 30 years, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside my good friend Jason at Daytonave Kennels. We’ve both been passionate, competitive breeders and have long admired each other’s dogs. 

Now, the time has finally come to forge this alliance and make the cross we’ve been eagerly anticipating! Canis Major is descended from legendary dogs such as Firecracker, Kocky Mike, Daddy O, and of course, the great Amos—a cornerstone here at Limited Edition. What truly excites me about Canis Major is his unique pedigree. He is 4X Star, the mother of Daddy O, and bellymate sister to Deebo. This remarkable line of dogs has been producing outstanding progeny for decades, including the legendary Stone Cold.

As a breeder and lifelong dog enthusiast, I cannot thank Jason enough for the opportunity to add Canis Major to our program. Our friendship has stood the test of time, and I believe the best is still yet to come. Through all the challenges Jason has faced over the years, he has remained steadfast in his commitment to the dogs and his integrity as a breeder.
